Pale refined linseed oil is a slime free refined oil produced from raw linseed oil, won by a refining process going over the steps of degumming, neutralising and bleaching. The extra pale colour value is achieved by a special bleaching process.

Pale refined linseed oil is used for the production of oil modified polyester resins (i.e. alkyd resins), stand oils, printing varnishes, maleate and urethane oils in the synthetic resins, coatings and printing ink industry. It also finds application as a binder in pigment pastes.
