For the management and further expansion of our plant in Zhuhai (Guandong-Province, China), we are looking for you, at the earliest possible appointment, as Plant Manager (m/f/d). After successful onboarding at our Krefeld location, the permanent assignment will take place at Zhuhai site.

Aufgaben

- Overall responsibility for the management and continuous development of our manufacturing plant producing water-based binders, castor oil and castor oil derivatives
- Ensuring production performance in terms of output, quality, and cost efficiency
- Results-oriented leadership and continuous development of your team
- Acting as the primary point of contact for authorities and external stakeholders in China
- Maintain full regulatory compliance and manage all internal/external audits
- Providing regular reports and strategic updates to the management of parent company in Germany
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture, enforce all EHS regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure on-time raw material availability while optimizing inventory turns

Profil

- Engineering or chemical engineering degree
- Established leadership personality with a strong hands-on, results-oriented mindset
- Proven experience in managing production units within an Asian cultural environment
- Strong general management competencies in a Chinese-European business context
- High level of intercultural competence, motivation, and assertiveness
- Negotiating ability in English; ideally basic knowledge of Mandarin
