Excellent performance and sustainability are compatible - Alberdingk Boley proves this day by day. Our water-based dispersions make green chemistry competitive - with a positive ecological balance, on schedule and on budget solutions and excellent performance parameters.
Alberdingk Boley is aware of its responsibility to mankind and the environment: In 1995 we were one of the first German companies to undergo an 'environmental audit' under the provisions of EEC Regulation No. 1836/93 at our site in Kerpen, Germany. We follow the guidelines of "Responsible Care®", a voluntary initiative of the chemical industry, in all of our business activities. This commits us to strive for continuous improvement in the areas of environmental and health protection as well as plant, occupational and transportation safety. As an international company, we also support the Global Product Strategy (GPS) of the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and accept comprehensive, cross-border product stewardship.
For us, excellent quality is a matter of course.
We are guided by internationally accepted standards in order to guarantee and be able to document the consistent superior standard of our products and processes. The management system for the business units polyurethane and polyacrylate dispersions and combinations thereof as well as for the business units linseed oil, castor oil and castor oil derivatives have all been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 standards. Annual audits provide the framework for maintaining and improving the quality management system.
