Sustainability is part of our corporate policy. In line with the UN Sustainable Development goals, we aim to meet the economical, ecological and social needs of today’s society without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Alberdingk Boley is striving for solutions which provide economic growth, while at the same time being ecologically and socially viable.
Our teams from Research & Development and Technical Marketing increasingly focus on sustainable thinking and the use of renewable resources when working on innovations, e.g. new sustainable binders.

Green electricity for Alberdingk Boley.
An example for sustainability in our company is the transition to green electricity.
The four E-charging stations in front of our Research and
Development Centre deliver green electricity for visitors and employees and our plant in Leuna covers approx. 1/3 of its annual requirements with green electricity!
Bicycles and e-bikes for sustainable mobility.
Company bicycles support our employees in benefiting both the environment and their health. We help members of our staff to lease their dream bike or e-bike and take full advantages of the Jobrad programme. Switching from car to bike, our employees help to reduce CO² emissions and the damages caused by tyre abrasion. Most importantly, these initiatives also bring positive and long-term effects for physical and mental health.

Sustainability has been part of our DNA for a long time and we strive to bring this subject into the forefront of our clients’ minds.
