Sustainable supply chain – Our due diligence obligations
At Alberdingk Boley, we take our responsibility for a sustainable and ethical supply chain very seriously. Even though we are not directly affected by the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), it is particularly important to us to ensure the highest standards in our supply chain. Sustainability and human rights are at the centre of everything we do. For this reason, we have developed a code of conduct for suppliers that sets out clear requirements for our suppliers. Our declaration of principles emphasises our commitment to human rights, environmental protection and fair working conditions.
Responsibility in the Supply Chain
As an internationally active company, we take responsibility not only for our own production processes but also across our entire supply chain. In selecting and working with our suppliers, we place a strong emphasis on environmental considerations, fair working conditions, and respect for human rights. We follow a risk-based approach: Together with our partners, we aim to identify potential risks at an early stage and implement appropriate measures. In doing so, we contribute to responsible and sustainable value creation. We believe in collaborative dialogue, clear expectations, and continuous development – with the goal of jointly creating viable solutions. You can find more information on this topic here.
